The mission of Salem Baptist Christian School is to challenge students to achieve in an academically excellent environment while nurturing their love for and service to God and others.
SBCS students consistently score well above the national average on standardized achievement tests and college admissions testing such as the SAT. Our graduates have attended or are currently attending a variety of college and universities. Our college prep high school program offers honors and AP classes.
Students are nurtured daily to help them grow their love for God and others. Knowing that the fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge, we teach all subjects from a Biblical perspective. In addition, a Bible class is taught on every grade level. Students are also challenged in their Christian walk during a dynamic weekly chapel service.
Students are consistently given opportunities to serve God and others. Students in lower school complete service projects during the year. Students in the upper school are required to complete ten hours of community service each year. We want to teach our students that there is a world beyond themselves.
