Academic Advising

The goal of the School Guidance Counseling program at Salem Baptist Christian School is to provide comprehensive services to all students, making a holistic impact on student success. The program will address academic, personal/social, college/career, and spiritual development of all students through the opportunity for individual, small group, large group, and school-wide programs. Through these comprehensive services, the school counseling program will assist all students in reaching their highest potential, allowing them to feel confident to succeed in all areas of their lives.  For liability purposes, complete confidentiality can never be promised to any student or parent. The School Guidance Counselor’s Office will operate under the following confidentiality statement:  “What you say stays in here unless you know of someone who is being hurt, someone is hurting you, you want to hurt someone, or you want to hurt yourself.”
